Kihon
Kihon · FundamentalsBasic techniques performed individually and in combinations. Kihon demonstrates stance, posture, breathing, speed, power and correct technical form.
Kata
Kata · FormsPre-arranged sequences of techniques performed against imaginary opponents. Kata develops rhythm, balance, direction, focus and traditional Shotokan expression.
