JKA Shotokan Karate Club Dubai is an official branch of the Japan Karate Association (JKA), Japan, dedicated to promoting authentic traditional Shotokan Karate in Dubai, UAE.
Established in 2011, our dojo has been committed to providing high-quality karate training based on the principles, standards, and teaching methods of the Japan Karate Association. We aim to develop not only strong karate technique, but also discipline, respect, confidence, focus, and character in every student.
We offer karate classes for kids, teens, adults, and ladies, with programs designed for beginners as well as advanced students. Whether the goal is fitness, self-discipline, confidence, competition, or long-term martial arts development, our dojo provides a clear and trusted pathway for growth. At JKA Shotokan Karate Club Dubai, we believe karate is more than a sport. It is a way to build strong character, self-control, perseverance, and respect for others. Our mission is to preserve the true spirit of Japanese martial arts while helping each student achieve personal excellence. Sensei Ameer Adukkattil is the Chief Instructor and Chairman of JKA Shotokan Karate Club Dubai, an official branch of the Japan Karate Association.
With his JKA 6th Dan rank and official JKA Instructor, Judge, and Examiner qualifications, Sensei Ameer Adukkattil is regarded as one of the highly qualified Shotokan Karate instructors in Dubai and the UAE.
He regularly conducts Black Belt Training, JKA Instructor Courses, and JKA Judge Seminars, supporting students, instructors, and karate practitioners in their technical development and official JKA progression.
His teaching focuses on strong fundamentals, correct technique, discipline, character development, and continuous improvement through the traditional JKA training system.
Under his leadership, students receive structured training in Kihon, Kata, Kumite, belt grading preparation, championships, and personal development.

Official Recognition
JKA Shotokan Karate Club Dubai is officially listed as AE-007 under the Japan Karate Association Gulf Branches Directory.
Led by Sensei Ameer Adukkattil, Chairman / Contact Person, our club provides authentic JKA Shotokan Karate training in Dubai, UAE, following the standards and traditions of the Japan Karate Association.
Our club is also approved by the UAE Karate Federation, the national governing body for karate in the UAE and a recognized member of the World Karate Federation (WKF), operating under the sports framework of the General Authority of Sports UAE.
